This article is for our new Slack integration! For information on our legacy Slack integration for direct channels, see here. For information on our legacy Slack integration for digital channels see here.
Our Slack integration lets you automatically send specific feedback notifications directly to multiple Slack channels so that you can have instant visibility.
Right now, you can only set up notifications for Slack channels, not inside of DMs.

-
In the Data section find the form you want to receive response notifications from. You can select multiple forms.
-
Click Continue to Conditions.
-
In the Conditions section, select All Responses or Responses that match conditions.
-
All Responses: you’ll get a Slack notification every time someone submits a response to the form you’ve selected.
-
Responses that match conditions: set logic and conditions to get Slack notifications for specific kinds of responses. For example, you can set conditions to only receive Slack notifications for responses with low NPS scores.
-
-
If you’re setting up notifications based on conditions, you’ll choose which data source, type of information, and logic you want notifications to be based on. You can add multiple conditions.
-
Once your conditions are set up, click Continue to details.
-
In the Details section, use the dropdown to select a Slack Workspace.
-
Enter the name of the Slack channel you want responses to be posted in. To send responses to multiple channels, separate channel names with a comma. Right now, you can only set up notifications for Slack channels, not inside of DMs. To send notifications to a private channel, use /add to invite the GetFeedback bot to the channel first.
-
(Optional) Add an Additional Message–this will be included in every response posted to slack.
-
In the lower-right corner, click Save changes.
-
To turn the automation on, find it in your Automation Manager list, and click the toggle to activate it.
-
Once your automation is activated, responses that meet the conditions you set will trigger a Slack notification when someone completes a form.
