Boost feedback campaigns allow you to prompt visitors for feedback using a personal slide-out message. This provides an alternate means to clicking the feedback button, and produces significantly more live feedback.
On the campaigns overview page choose for “Start new campaign” and after that select “Boost Feedback”. This will open the Boost feedback campaign editor.
Initially you will be prompted to add a name to your campaign. Do this, or change the name by clicking on the 'New Boost Campaign' title.
Once you have created New Boost Campaign you will need to assign the campaign to an existing feedback button. You can select one or multiple buttons to which the campaign will become associated. This means that the campaign will appear on any page that the chosen button(s) appears on (even if your button is invisible), unless visitor targeting states otherwise.
Note: Your campaign will only show on a page if you have a button (& its relevant code) on that webpage.
After associating the campaign to your feedback button(s) you'll see the 'Campaign Text' screen. This is where you can edit the message title and message text, as well as the text on the Submit and Cancel buttons.
On this screen you also have the option to add one of your Custom Themes to your campaign. Read more about Theming here. To change the position of your slide-out on the screen, open the Advanced menu by clicking on the 'Advanced' button (Found on the left hand side of the screen).
After opening the Advanced menu you will see the option to change the position. The position denotes which side of the screen your slide-out will appear on. The offset decides whereabouts on this axis it will lie, and the width decides the size of your slide-out.
You can view how your Boost Live Feedback slide-out will appear to your visitors by hitting the Open Preview button. The Open Preview button can be found in the main Campaign Edit section.
Once you're happy, click Next to set the visitor targeting of your slide-out message. Here you can set which visitors of your website will see the slide-out message.
Once you select 'Show you survey to certain visitors' you see the different targeting options. Read more about Visitor Targeting in the targeting section.
To finalize your Boost Feedback Campaign you will need to set your campaign Scheduling. You can read more about scheduling your campaigns here.
Once all options have been set to your liking, Save your campaign and begin collecting feedback!
