If you are using Tagcommander as your tag management system, you will be able to implement Usabilla very quickly through the integrated Usabilla tag. Implementing Usabilla through Tagcommander is a simple process that does not require any coding on your end. In this guide, we will explain you the basic implementation of your Usabilla feedback buttons and campaigns in Tagcommander.
In order to implement Usabilla, you will need a desktop and a mobile feedback button in your account. If you do not have any feedback buttons yet, follow these instructions to set up your buttons. Make sure that you have one feedback button for desktop and a smaller button optimized for mobile.
Now it's time to open Tagcommander. Log into your account and open the container that is implemented on the website on which you are implementing Usabilla. Click "New tag" at the top-left of the screen to add a new tag.
Find the Usabilla - Combi-code tag and continue to the next step. You will now find two ID fields, which is where you specify the feedback buttons that you would like to use.
Copy the ID and head back over to Tagcommander. Paste the ID into the "#USABILLA_DESKTOP_ID#" field. Now repeat the same for your mobile button and paste the ID into the "#USABILLA_MOBILE_ID#" field.
Save your tag to finalize the basic implementation. Optionally you can now move on to "Rules" to exclude Usabilla from firing on specific pages. We do, however, recommend you to use the feedback button on every page. Next, you can test and publish your Usabilla tag to fire Usabilla on your website.
