What is Usabilla for Email?
Usabilla for Email allows you to collect user feedback on (automated) emails you send out to your clients. The product consists of a widget that is directly placed into your email and a feedback form that will open in the browser of your user, upon interacting with the widget. A typical widget will look like the one below.

Upon clicking one of the above smileys a feedback form will open in your browser. Once you start creating your own widget, it might be nice to direct your users to your own website.
Tip: Feel free to click on one of the smileys and complete the form to see how the product works. Once you complete the feedback form, you will be redirected to our support page.
Where is Usabilla for Email?
Usabilla for Email can be found by logging into your Usabilla account and switching to Email.Click on ‘Websites’ in the top left menu and select ‘Email’ from the menu that appears.
After selecting ‘Email’ you will see the dashboard change. This is the official welcome sign. Welcome to Usabilla for Email!

Individual Campaign & Group Campaign
In Usabilla for Email, there are two types of feedback campaigns you can setup, Individual campaigns and Group campaigns. Looks-wise they're exactly the same, the difference is noticeable when analyzing the feedback.
Do you want to track and analyze feedback within one campaign, for example, personal emails? Individual campaign is the way to go. Recipients give feedback through the widget in your email, the feedback is gathered in Usabilla and can be analyzed there. Combined with our intelligent filtering options you can find out exactly what makes your customers happy - and importantly, what doesn't.
Do you want to analyze and compare feedback across multiple campaigns, for example, Customer Support agent' emails? A Group campaign is what you're looking for. A Group campaign consists of multiple Individual campaigns, with the big difference that apart from analyzing each campaign individually, you can also analyze and compare the results of each campaign in the group. This allows you to find out which members of your support team are performing best and use detailed feedback to help them improve.
Set up your first Individual Campaign
If you want to track and analyze feedback within one campaign, for example, a personal email. An Individual Campaign is the way to go. Let's get to work and set up your first Individual Campaign!
- Select "Setup" from the email widgets menu on the left of your screen and select "Create new widget"
- Select "Individual Campaign"
- Name and customize your Email Widget
- Customize the form your readers will see after clicking on the widget
- Customize the exit screen and save your campaign
When your widget is saved, you'll be asked how you want to install your new email widget. For this we have 2 options:
- Select and copy the widget and paste it into your email
- Select and copy the HTML code and paste it into your email
Set up your first Group Campaign
Do you want to analyze feedback and track feedback across multiple campaigns, for example, newsletters or Customer Support Agents' emails? The Group Campaign option is right for you. Let's set this up.
- Select "Setup" from the email widgets menu on the left of your screen and select "Create new widget"
- Select "Group Campaign"
- Name and customize your widget
- Customize the form your readers will see after clicking on the widget
- Customize the exit screen and save your campaign
When your widget is saved, you'll be asked how you want to install your new email widget. For this we have 2 options:
- Select and copy the widget and paste it into your email
- Select and copy the HTML code and paste it into your email
